Homework has been around since school has. For every class a student has, there's homework. But how much is too much? Is there a set limit to the amount of homework students recieve?
Pros of Homework
* Repetition of a lesson helps remembering important facts * Homework can teach things the teacher hasn't * It aids in teaching responsibility regarding set deadlines * It can be used as a reference when studying for tests * When given in a RESONABLE amount, homework is a great teaching tool
Cons of Homework
* Too much homework can lead to severe stress issues * If grades fall because of missed homework, the student can feel mentally inferior * Absenses because of sickness can be lethal if homework is being assigned, because too much homework assigned on a daily basis piles up * Most of it is just busy-work * Certain subjects, such as English, don't require homework to learn because grammar and writing is done in class
